Do you need to be wearing a medical alert bracelet?

A few years ago my wife's father had passed away and my wife and I were both under heavy stress. I overdosed my insulin, and about 2 A.M. fell into a diabetic coma (sugar leve was 20 - dangerous). My wife called the paramedics and the first thing they checked was the medical info on my diabetic bracelet. I am so glad that I wear mine. It is a real lifesaver.

Diabetics and Heart Attacks

We are very familiar with diabetes. Walter, my husband, is an insulin dependent diabetic. He has had many health complications. However, so far there is not heart complications of diabetes.
